Be a Precinct Committeeperson
If you’re ready to play a critical role in shaping our community, consider becoming a PCP. Together, let’s work towards a brighter and more inclusive tomorrow. As a Precinct Committee Person (PCP), you become a cornerstone of grassroots efforts within the Democratic party. Each precinct is entitled to have two PCPs, who are not just volunteers but elected representatives of the party. This role is pivotal in strategizing and working collaboratively to secure victories across the board.

Qualifications
Must be a registered Democrat residing in the precinct where elected.
Engagement
Engage with local Democratic and Independent residents to foster support through events and canvassing. Actively participate in relevant meetings, events, and activities of the County Democratic Party.
Voter Registration
Focus on registering new voters who align with Democratic values.
Community Engagement
Organize gatherings and participate in Democratic Party meetings and activities.
Volunteer Mobilization
Recruit and coordinate volunteers for campaign efforts and events.
Petitioning
Collect signatures to ensure Democratic candidates appear on the ballot.
GOTV Campaign
Lead efforts to encourage voter turnout, especially during critical election periods.
Election Day Support
Recommend and assist in recruiting poll workers to uphold voter rights.
